Can you identify what whole hole this is?
Well it has been quite the year...we had only one ladies night rained out and that one was not lost as the sponsors agreed to combine their nights....so basically we didn't miss a step. I would like to thank all our valued Sponsors for our Charity Open as well as the Ladies Night Sponsors. All the ladies who volunteered for the Charity Open and Ladies Nights.
The biggest change and news for Ladies Night was going to Tuesday Night's on a regular basis. The consistent attendance for Ladies proved that this was the right move. This has been a dream of mine for over 20 years now so to see it actually come to true and be successful is absolutely wonderful. Way to go ladies!
Anne's Arbor is up on hole #4. It is beautiful just like Anne Townsend. Take a look when next you are playing the front nine. (Pictured below). The name plate is to be inserted soon and two flower pots to be added. This was to be installed much earlier this year but due to many rain delays this spring the contractor finally is catching up. Anne's Arbor was donated by the Ladies Club with support from Men's Club and private donations. There is also plaque in her honour upstairs in the Anne Townsend Room of the Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre.

LAST WEEK, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 was our last Ladies' Night of the season. We had a tremendous turnout and the weather turned out to be very nice. Our sponsor was Kyle Mulligan Enterprises Ltd. Kyle offered to sponsor us about 5 years ago and has sponsored the final ladies night since that time. There were many door prizes donated by Kyle and following is a list of winners: $25 Gift Certificates - Vickie Torry, Penny Hollington, Cathy Jack, Danette Tanners, Michelle Robinson, Barb Klinger, Wendy Leaman, Shirley Graham, Melanie Kizlyk, Carol Gallant. The following won a ladies golf top: Nada Beek, Ruth Hardy, Elaine Lawrence, and Joan Snider. Winner of Golf Shoes were: Judy Schreiber, Marilyn Lindskog. Donna Cameron won the Junior Set of Golf Clubs, Jennette Lindskog won a hybrid rescue club, Liz Hawrylak won a Taylor Made Burner Driver.
The games were well done again and there was something on each hole. From putting with one hand to teeing off with your 7 iron. Following are the game prize winners, sponsored weekly by Weatherford. Thanks to Heavy Crude and Lakeland College who added to the game prizes. There were 24 ladies who won game prizes this week.
Finally Shirley Graham won the draw for the Lakeland College Jacket. Thanks to Colleen Symes for making these available to us from Lakeland College.
